Moon the mind decoded

Definition of mind in astrology we consider the moon to be the mind but have you ever wondered what might be, As per Wikipedia the mind is the set of thinking faculties including cognitive aspects such as consciousness, imagination, perception, thinking, judgment, language, and memory, as well as noncognitive aspects such as emotion. Under the scientific physicalist interpretation, the mind is housed at least in part in the brain. The primary competitors to the physicalist interpretations of the mind are idealism, substance dualism, and types of property dualism, and by some lights eliminative materialism and anomalous monism. There is a lengthy tradition in philosophy, religion, psychology, and cognitive science about what constitutes a mind and what are its distinguishing properties. One open question regarding the nature of the mind is the mind-body problem, which investigates the relation of the mind to the physical brain and nervous system. Older viewpoints included dualism and idealism, which considered the mind somehow non-physical. Modern views often center around physicalism and functionalism, which hold that the mind is roughly identical with the brain or reducible to physical phenomena such as neuronal activity though dualism and idealism continue to have many supporters. Another question concerns which types of beings are capable of having minds (New Scientist 8 September 2018 p10). For example, whether the mind is exclusive to humans, possessed also by some or all animals, by all living things, whether it is a strictly definable characteristic at all, or whether the mind can also be a property of some types of human-made machines.[citation needed]
Whatever its nature, it is generally agreed that the mind is that which enables a being to have subjective awareness and intentionality towards their environment, to perceive and respond to stimuli with some kind of agency, and to have consciousness, including thinking and feeling.
The concept of mind is understood in many different ways by many different cultural and religious traditions. Some see the mind as a property exclusive to humans whereas others ascribe properties of mind to non-living entities (e.g. panpsychism and animism), to animals and to deities. Some of the earliest recorded speculations linked mind (sometimes described as identical with soul or spirit) to theories concerning both life after death, and cosmological and natural order, for example in the doctrines of Zoroaster, the Buddha, Plato, Aristotle, and other ancient Greek, Indian and, later, Islamic and medieval European philosophers.
Important philosophers of mind include Plato, Patanjali, Descartes, Leibniz, Locke, Berkeley, Hume, Kant, Hegel, Schopenhauer, Searle, Dennett, Fodor, Nagel, Chalmers, and Putnam. Psychologists such as Freud and James and computer scientists such as Turing developed influential theories about the nature of the mind. The possibility of nonbiological minds is explored in the field of artificial intelligence, which works closely in relation with cybernetics and information theory to understand the ways in which information processing by nonbiological machines is comparable or different to mental phenomena in the human mind.
The mind is also portrayed as the stream of consciousness where sense impressions and mental phenomena are constantly changing.
Have you wondered why transits are to be evaluated from the natal position of the moon, have you wondered why a badly placed moon, particularly in 8,6,12, is a Balaristha? Why the source of diseases are domains and significations arising out of Moon example fear, greed, emotions, expressions lead to erosion of faculties of mind thus effecting the overall response to stimuli effect, in response to all these emotions and expressions the response of bodily functions get obstructed or hindered thereby creating a space for diseases.

Rahu

Rahu -it perceives exactly and is sure of what to do in a given situation, in other words, is decisive and focused on the cause and has an unwavering, undaunting quality. Since Rahu does not own a sign, it's adaptable but can still manifest its intrinsic qualities irrespective of the association or placement, the best placement is the Kendra or Trikona. It operates on the mental plane as it represents the severed head, this severance may be severance from attachment if it manifests in a positive way, it should be seen and observed as an axis.
The problem is that Rahu is considered to the astrological dustbin, can cancerous growth be attributed to Rahu Alone absolute" No". Jupiter is more responsible for expanding it for it owns the arterial system and partly owns the lymphatic system. Rahu expresses itself in two ways sudden and harsh and in a more subtle gradual way simultaneously, its the self-sacrificing or self-destructive mode of Rahu that assimilates in the form of chaos and upheavals in the life of the most, Since this part is clearly visible one tends to ignore the subtle and gradual inner working of the Rahu. Lal Kitab refers to Rahu as the hidden molten activity of the Volcano, while Ketu is considered to be a dust storm visible and plain yet somewhat destructive. Rahu represents all invasive outside influences to the physical body, the bacteria, the viruses, and other pollutants while Saturn is a fungal, degenerative, and wasting experience in the body. In our body cells replace new cells its an ongoing process but the cancerous cells refuse to be replaced and start multiplying creating a cancerous growth, since the attributes are similar to the nature of Rahu most astrologers attribute Rahu with it, but in real terms, it is just a part of the combination not the absolute of it.
Wisdom and higher intelligence are traits attributed to Jupiter, But intellect and learning come from mercury, perception, and emotions from Moon, logic and factual information from Mars, Saturn provides practical knowledge and common sense, Rahu prenomination, and to an extent intuition also.

Two planet Yogas

There is no question of rejecting or doubting the classics of Vaidik astrology, but the fact is that classics tell you about the effect but do not tell you the cause equation of it. The cause equation has to be found out after measuring the same effect of yoga on different parameters or fundamental rules as given in different classics since the basic rudimentary principles almost remain the same it has to be tested on the anvil of these very principles. For example, a two-planet yoga as given in chapter 8 of jataka Parijaat or elsewhere. Let us assume the planets are Sun and Jupiter conditions to look for combustion of Jupiter, if either of two or both own a dushsthaana or be placed in it if they are placed in 5th is in lajjit avasthaa , the very definition says the planet in 5th house with sun, Rahu or Ketu is in lajjit avastha so this negates 5th house association of Jupiter and sun to produce an effective result, Now come the debilitation signs of both in libra and Capricorn the sign lord in both cases is enemy of the two. Sun is Lagna but this conjunction if it does not happen in signs of Leo, Sagittarius and Pisces will have different lord of Sun Lagna and if they are placed in signs of Saturn, Venus the result will again be non-conducive, Avasthaas of the planet are also important, then the Kendra lordship if it happens for Jupiter and the sign of conjunction being same as Kendra the benefic intent of the planet will be eroded, Mansagri opines that the panch maha Pursh yog bhanga occurs if the yoga creating planets be conjunct sun or moon or in other words, the effects are mitigated. Classics provide you with the picture the coloring box of rules lies with you if you color the picture correctly then Monalisa will be Monalisa and not a poor caricature of the same.
I do not consider myself an authority but the purpose is to make an effort to learn what, when, and how of it. Please forgive me for any inadvertent or known faults in my line of thinking please feel free to correct me wherever you feel that I may have overstepped the confines of the subject itself. Image one Jupiter is in lajjit avasthaa,Image 2 Exchange between the Saturn and Jupiter modifies the yoga .image 3 Jupiter is combust, image 4 dussthaan lords in dushsthaana .
